An Ounce of PerceptionThis is me on an Ounce of Perception (5.9+) at Annapolis Rocks in Maryland. I thought it was a really fun route. No pics on lead though, too bad. Guidebook calls it a "classic" and a "must do" for the area. With not a whole lot else around except Faint's Roof itself, I most definitely agree.

Desperate Trad Climbers45 degrees and raining... 2.5 mile approach hike. Sketchy Aid climbing. This is what it's like to be a trad climber in the DC area in the middle of winter.

Sketchy PitonThis came out with a tug on the aiders after I clipped it. I ended up not doing the "A1" line out the roof. From the ground it looks like it would take small gear, but you'd basically have to rely on old pins like this to do the climb. Unless of course you are willing to pound your own iron, but I'm not.

Hanging out at Faints RoofThis is either me or my friend Bobby rapping down after setting up a top rope. Faint's Roof is a pretty fun 10, pretty strong. Not terribly technical, just have to pull through about 10 feet of very overhung, often wet, big old jugs. Falling here is probably about as fun as the climb, considering the swing :-).

North End SomewhereIt was cold and this was the only sunny route we could find that wasn't already taken. I don't know the name of it, but I was very fun
