Slater on the summit of Tenaya Peak.As far as summits go, they don't get much cooler. The NWB is a pretty easy, but fun, climb that I highly recommend.

Slater at the beginning of the NWB on Tenaya Peak, Tuolumne. You can actually 4th class half of the climb and then rope up for about 4 pitches of fun easy climbing on very nice granite. This is the rope up spot. Cool view of the lake and approach. Take a dip in the lake after you get down! aaahhhh...

One last bit before topping out. . .Just looking up at the last short pitch before topping out on Tenaya peak. Took longer than we figured - lucky with weather, full moon, and amazing sunset.

Jon Clipping on Tenaya PeakJon and I celebrated our second year anniversary by climbing the Northwest Buttress of Tenaya Peak. The terrain is so mellow on this route that we were able to run it out more than I'm usually comfortable with. Here is a shot of my honey mid-clip.

Robin soloing on Tenaya PeakFor our two year anniversary, Robin and I climbed Tenaya Peak. Here she is soloing one of the lower pitches. After this section, we decided to rope up for the rest of the climb.

Robin leading on Tenaya PeakFor our two year anniversary, Robin and I climbed Tenaya Peak. Here she is leading the last pitch of the climb. At this point there are many different ways to get to the top, but we chose the shortest and she took off on the sharp end.
