This was right around Hunter's 3rd Birthday (2004). This was the first time he tried to do soem outdoor climbing. He had been roped up in our old house and played on our indoor garage

Not too bad for his first try...he was roughly 8-10' up when he got to daddy.

I am approaching the crux on an easy lead at Vantage, WA. The rock is basalt. I have been climbing for 2.5 years. Rock on!!

I'm not sure what climb this is, but it's at the Feathers. The darkness wasn't actually on purpose, just the product of a shabby camera.

We got to the crag at around 9 Am and there was not a soul around, so we got the run of the place. We started looking at the climbs and I noticed a draw toward the top of the climb.

So here I am, gearing up as quick as I can to flash up this 5.8 so i can get soem "Booty Gear". I got up there and almost missed it, I can't understand why it was left, the climb was real easy adn you didn't even need that hanger in the placement.

One mans loss is another one's gain...MINE.

This was the first time Bobbi climbed outside. She climbed this .7 and a .5 on her first attempts. The only problem was the wind that hampered us the whole day.

At Frenchmans Coulee, N8 took the pic with our camera.

This is N8's girlfriend Alex. This was the first time she had ever tried to do any climbing (except at the fair). She was wearing her Tennis shoes too...and still made the climb.

My firs lead climb!!!
