I met Chris and his friend Xavier the day after my FA with LarryD and Bill. Chris RP this great fun route while I only TRed it. And I still regret that I didn't try to lead it. The afternoon of this very day, I got dehydrated and finished in the hospital... Photo by Thomas Ribière.

Here's myself on adoption. I didn't make it any further than this. Got scared after the first bolt.

Here it is. The largest, most concentrated and most crowded group of sport climbs in the world.

Here's Steve on Rebel without a Pause. It's pretty steep.

Tried the start to this 5.11+ route during the Climb Like a Girl clinic at RRR 2006. Roxanna Brock took the photo :) Oh, and I didn't get very far - gave up and did the 5.9+ around the corner.

This climb is in the Black Corridor. I thought the colour was amazing so I snapped it from the anchors on the 5.11 across from it.

Teaching our friend on a few easy climbs in the corridor. It gives a good view of the whole place. It stays cool up til noon.

This is why not to go to the Black Corridor during Spring Break. Nobody was actually climbing at this time, but they seemed to have all the equipment should they have decided to do so. ;-)

This was a challenging climb for me. I'm pictured here, holding onto three single finger pockets, nearing the crux which involved moving up... then backing down! But after many times and burning arms I made the crux and finished with more hard climbing to the top.

This is a shot from my first trip to Red Rocks. This is the Brilliantly bolted "Rebel Without a Pause." It has some fun moves and a clip that is a royal pain.

After waiting for the rain to stop and the rocks to dry we hit the Black Corridor. This is Mitchal climbing Bon Ez.

Trying to escape the heat of summer at red rocks in the Black Corridor. This area has many .9-.11's and is shaded.

This was my first ever sport lead. I'm pretty sure it's on Bonaire - 5.9. The picture was taken by Brian. We took a spring break trip to red rocks (first week in april) and it was outstanding. My fingers are still peeling!

Why why... we went to black corridor, one of the colder crags on our only warm sunny day of the trip. Here I am warming up on a 5.9 of some sort - Bonaire or Bon EZ. I forget, but it's the one to the left.

Looking to avoid takeoff on Burros Might Fly (5.10a), lower section of the Black Corridor. Crux is getting in and out of the dish beneath the undercling, it's been called runout but you'll find good hands and feet once past the undercling flake. Photo by Otway Louie.

The crux is off the deck. This climb is the second climb you cross when entering the Black Corridor.

Here's a photo of me in the Black Corridor, second pullout in Red Rocks, NV. I can't remember which route this is exactly. Probably Bonaire or Bon Ez or something.

Passing the first bolt on Black Gold (5.10b). Yep, I wear a helmet even when leading sport routes.
