this route is a good alternative if the nose is overcrowded on a busy weekend..the 40-50ft. hand crack at the beginning of pitch 3 is very enjoyable. a very fun 5.8 that is worth a trip for sure. photo taken by blake

Looking down from the first belay at the first pitch of the Nose. As you can see, the first pitch will take as much gear as you would like to place in it.

My friend leading first pitch of the nose. Strange moves on "eyebrows". Glad we did it but the move gets repetetive. Don't feel the need to climb this route again. Great view.

Beautiful view from the last belay station of nose. Usually a crowded route, we were alone racing a huge storm coming up from behind.

A good 5.9 slab climb. It goes stright up between sundial and The nose.

Ed on Sundial Crack, rope solo last Fall. Nice route. Still thinking about those eyebrows. As you can see, I brought everything but the kitchen sink. (on-sited, didn't know what to bring, so I brought it all)

This is a shot of me belaying Josh (photographer) on The Nose at Looking Glass. This is one of the most popular routes in the state and the rock was pretty much vacant on this gorgeous day.

I'm cleaning The Nose, a signature route at Looking Glass. I was lucky enough to meet up with James from rc.com and he let me climb with him! He even took this picture (he tied off the belay first ...). Thanks!

Following up the Nose at Looking Glass, when I realized I could go farther if I had more extremities. It is easier to hold on to the eyebrows.
