My friend toproping what was basically my first lead ever (its been about 8 years since I did my real first). Afterward it was a pretty unanimous decision that the name of the route was appropriate!

This was my first time out sport climbing, so I was pretty psyched on sending fun stuff like this dihedral. I think this is the run-out after the last bolt before the anchors. Unfortunately, it's a butt shot :

Seth's first lead ever. No falls. He later got half way on Year of the Phsyco Bitch and also the 5.10a at The Gun Wall. I climbed half way up the climb next to it sans rope to get this shot...hopefully it was worth it.

The Orange Oswald wall can resemble a crowded gym on most spring weekends. However on this sunday morning the overcast weather kept the crowds at bay as we warmed up on open routes and crisp temperatures (Photo by Wes Allen).

My very first lead and i performed a rescue act - Steve the photographer was up there, and the rope was down here and it had started to rain! Nobody else wanted to get him down. Resulted in my virgin lead. Thanks for the photo Steve!

Bill and my gear spread out on the surrounding trees. It was nicely out of the way and shady, however the hill is not visible. One wrong step on a tree root and down the hill you go. Near Hippie Dreams.

this is just me taking time off before we head to the next climb. so many amazing routes down there.

just having some fun on a easier route. nothing like spending a day on nothing but fun moderate sport routes.

James' first outdoor trip and it was to an aMAZING place.. SUMMERSVILLE Lake is a wicked place for some top notch sport and some even GNARLier Deep water Soloing!!! I setup a little photo line on Hippie Dreams and had a chance to take a few pics of him in action
