our trip to summersville.....probably should rent an actual boat rather than a blow up raft. doesn't do too well.
got pretty tired from the rowing and took a break to go rope swinging!

This is me half way up the amazing Unnamed aka Indian Summer at the lake. Amazing climb that goes from hands to rings to fingers to slopers. During the summer you can water solo it just watch out for the big ledge to the left.

This is the final move in the crack, you then slap up to a couple slopers and top out. It keeps you going all the way to the end. At the top there is only one anchor but it is bomber.

We got on this route just as the sun was setting. Great route, still unnamed. Can only get on it when the water is low.

One of the many boulders of pirates cove. This blunt arete climbs up and left for about 20-25 feet, fortunately the landing was a big pile of sand. The texture was even better on the boulders since they sit under water half of the year. Climber: Todd Jurgensen Photo: Teresa Jurgensen

A nice redpoint after the failed onsight. A stunning arete, with good varied climbing.

Jeremy Steck on Indian Summer, 5.10c. Surely the most splitter crack at Summersville Lake!
