Wade, Brian and I recorded quite possibly the slowest ascent ever of this monster...came in just shy of 52 hours. This is me enjoying one of the best pitches (maybe the 18th?) of Timewave Zero in Mexico's El Potero Chico.

We're just starting to descend the 23rd pitch after 2 days of climbing. It took us almost 5 hours to rap this route.

Just chillin' at the belay on Time Wave Zero. Judging from my smile anndd the background, I don't think this is more than seven pitches up. As for the route itself, this is THE long one to do in Potrero.

This is a shot I took from the top of Time Wave Zero. It is an incredible site at about 2400 ft. We climbed it in 1 day and had an encounter with a rattlesnake on pitch 12, the bivy ledge, on the decent.

Joe and I couldn't get lost. It's the only route on this part of the mountain. At the end of this pitch is a nice bivy spot.
