This was taken by my girlfriend, Susie, when we went on road-tripping around the USA back in 2001. It was featured in _Vbouldering_ though we could have won a nice prize had this picture been set in high resolution format. The sequence shot work was done by myself. This is one of the popular problems in Buttermilk Country, yet still great problem to shoot...

The Iron Man Traverse as seen from the side. It's a fairly steep face as opposed to the typical face on shot that gives you a flat perspective. The pic was taken by Vicky Summer 05 Bishop trip.

I could do the first 2/3 before the tiny crimpers. I was happy to try this famous traverse : one of the main reasons for my US trip was to experiment famous crags and new type of rock, as I have almost only climbed on limestone. Photo Scott The Botanist, Minolta 600si, Kodak Gold 200 ; no photoshop on this one.

this is one of a pair of such that live in a crack on the ironman boulder....they would come out and sun themselves every day...one day we even caught them in the act of serpintine love....anyway, cool animals.

Behold the nightlife of Bishop in all of its glory and splendor. You guessed it - nothing better to do than go climbing even if it is only 40 degrees out.
