This is me on the V1 on Pee-Wee. It was a little rough doin' this one because we worked on this after we had worked the V4 on Grandpa for like 2 hours and climbed some other routes on Grandma so the tips were kinda tender at this point, but it was still a blast just to be out there workin' some problems.

that's the kind of climbing i like: steep rock, little crimps, a foot-hook that makes the boulder much easier...

We cross country skiied in... cause that was the only way with 3 feet of snow.

We met this guy in bishop. He said he reached the lip of evilution and wanted to use our pads to pull over the lip, too bad he couldn't get past the second move.

This photo was taken at the end of October 05' just about a month after I started climbing. The Womb is a strange but fun problem.

the tut boulder has a couple of classic lines with interesting top-outs.

Nice warm up climb. Not sure if you're supposed to go all the way up, I sure as hell didn't.

Great problem, the first one we worked that week end and we all sent it. (unfortunately it was all downhill from there)

I stopped in Bishop for some bouldering on the way to the valley. This was a fun problem on the grandma peabody boulder.

You'll know these massive boulders when you see them.

Introducing Melissa, finding her way to the top of the cave. She nearly sent this problem, and made it look better than anyone else who tried it.

So I stick this hold, right, then I thnk to myself, "self, this is painful, that foothold looks good, nope, dosen't feel good, how about that one?, nope, not that one, ok, time to let go." And that sums up my experience of sticking the first hold on Evilution.
