My buddy and I were in JT April 14-17 2006 and met a nice fellow who gave us advice on where to set up TR (he recommended Thin Wall). We chatted a bit, and then he proceeded to solo 2 5.8ish routes in front of us, then walked off and soloed Out for Lunch (5.11a). Our jaws dropped. Weeks later, after seeing pictures of him in recent climbing magazines, I've come to realize we met and watched John Bachar free soloing in JT. It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. This is 1 of 4 pics.

Raymond starts up a fun steep jug haul in Echo Cove. I believe this route is Ben Dover, but I'm not sure. It is the left of two routes just uphill from Classic Thin Crack.

This is a shot of me on eileen dover this past halloween weekend. The picture was taken my buddy dave. The crux for me and anyone else under 5'10'' was probably the first move.

Marisa following jtme on Bacon Flake. The crux is down low but the pro is great throughout the route. I'm gonna get her to lead it next time!

An unknown 5.6 crack left of "Flake & Bake". Slightly tricky start, but the crack is very well protected, and top gear anchors are bomber.

Old Man Shannon was forced to borrow a harness to climb Big Moe- poor guy had to endure leg loops and everything!

Got scared as hell on this route. Lots of smearing and crimping. The start coming up from under the overhang is great though.
