during my stay at horsepens, mulletino was adopted as my project. here i am working it on the warmest day of my visit. after this move i get a solid toe hook around the corner and bump to a jug. this is the move where i feel like a starfish glued to the underside of the rock. much fun ensues.

The lowdown quickly became my project for the trip. This was one of many attempts when I was quite close to finishing. Here I am about to slap the sloper to prepare for the mantle finish. Photo by John (johnfromohio) who we met down there.
i ended up completing the problem later in the day, after dark with a headlamp to see where i was going.

It was a cold day in Alabama, with little flurries, and thats rare in Alabama. I fumbled with the camera as I took the picture but I liked the blurred result, so I messed with the color a little bit. See what you think.

Here is Brion Voges about to attempt the first move on Hugs and Kisses. If you think this crimp is tiny wait till you bump up with your left to a crimp thats probably less than half a pad.

Series of shots showing the opening sequence of Popeye at HP40. After seeing some videos of other climbers on this I realize that you don’t have to campus the start move.
