wow, this thing really looks STEEP until you actually get on it.....and then it just becomes ridiculous?!?

I was learning to lead, as you can see I'm set up on top rope. It was a fun climb though

Creature feature is the easiest 5.9+ that i have ever done. The whole wrote is awesome and the trip to the red is not worth it w/o trying this climb

This climb has it all. Starts off on a slab with some thin moves to get in position for the overhanging wall. Take a good rest then fire up the pockets, clipping as quick as you can. There is a ledge you can get a good rest at 2/3 of the way up the overhanging section. This was the very last climb I got on to end a 2 week climbing vacation out east. I got to the anchors but didn't get the redpoint. Did get worked though. Rematch someday. A classic endurance route.

For some strange reason i had difficulty on this climb last year when I was new to leading outdoors. (well not new but definitely not good at it.) I came back to prove a point to this climb and led it with ease. Alot of ease. I was very happy.

Finally my own butt shot of me pulling the roof on creature feature. Initially too much for me when I started leading, I sent this with ease. And had a lot of fun, too.

My first 10b outdoor lead! I toproped this climb last season but for whatever reason it looked easy this time, and I had a great time leading it. What fun!

This is another picture of me on Creature Feature. This route is 5.9 +. The roof is the (height dependant) crux with a jug haul to the top at about 90ft. Great climb.
