NamelessNotion took this picture of me on C Sharp or B Flat. After 2.5 months of climbing, it was my first lead climb :D

This was a great climb. First thing on a wet morning makes for slippery cracks. Bring hand to fist sized pieces (doubles if you have them). I didn't and was forced to stack nuts at the crux at the top.

Although our car got broken into just minutes after we arrived in Kentucky, we made the best of the week. By the end of the week around 10 cars became victims. This was the last route we did before we headed back to Arkansas.

I have been looking at a lot of Mshore's photos and have been inspired to start trying to immitate, what I am sure he is doing with (real)filters,(I am doing) in photoshop. The apperature "focus" is real, of course, but I underexposed one stop and then worked with the contrast in photoshop to brodden the contrast range, since digital has a much narrower contrast between white and black than film and slide (so i hear). I'm just an amateur inspired by a really good photographer.

Ro Shampo- Roadside Crag RRG,KY

This is my first lead at the Gorge. C Sharp, B Flat 5.7 I believe. My friend Scott took the pic from bouldering up halfway next to me.

A great 5.11 at the Red River Gorge Roadside crag. A fine test to see how long you can hold on to some good holds. This shot taken on a warm day during the fall when Kentucky climbing is at it's best.

The sun was in my eyes, but I was determined to redpoint this route! AWOL was my first lead in the red, and my second, third, tenth, you get the picture...

Marcio took this shot while George set up the top rop on the route for everyone else we were with to try...a good fun route next to lots of other good decent routes.

my first trip to the red in a good long while. hit roadside crag on the second day and decided to try to lead crazy fingers (5.10c). it felt good to be back.

Being goofy at the top of Jump for Joy, and mostly just excited that it was warm enough to climb in a sports bra in the middle of November.
