Fish eyeHere I am enjoying the day on top of McAfee's Knob. This classic arete offers every type of hold. I like the fish eye view. Photo by Jacob Neathawk.

Pocket Arete TopoutThis is the finish to the super-classic V4 Pocket Arete. This problem is located in the corridor area on the West Side of the Knob. The slopey topout is tricky, and has a bit of an awkward feeling fall.

Going Nowhere FASTMyself working the center line on the project boulder. This wall has three sweet hard lines just waiting to be climbed... the hold for my right hand is a tiny slot that I can only get the very very tips of my fingers in. The next holds are easily 4' up, at least 2 feet past where we have been able to reach thus far.

Ship's ProwSonia working the Ships Prow on what we call the Mayflower Boulder. Super classic line that is similar in looks to Great White, but climbs McAfee crimpy-sloper style.

Micah Jessup sending FF101Micah hitting the opening move of Foot Faggotry 101. This problem is incredibly deceptive. Get those feet high or you may find yourself endlessly clawing the blank slab!

Greasy BellyAt the summit, on the right side of the trail. Long bulgy wall, we call it the belly boulder. Normally I don't lay claim to FA's, but my when we climbed this wall the holds were invisible beneath moss. That was fall 2000. This is Szakelhydi showing his bum.

Arrow boulder area overhangSuper fun overhanging problem. It is on one of the first boulders off the trail when you reach the top. It will be on your left, hardly visible. Check out the left arete, sds low and climb arete. Also there is another line on right side of the overhang straight up to a small knob.
