Not making it up Lance's in LCC, yeah you know me. I thought the veins were somewhat gross.

This face is really cool, even though it has a bunch of drill holes in it. This traveres goes across the bottom from right to left.

This is kinda the crux of a traveres in Little Cottonwood Canyon. There are a bunch of those drilled holes which makes for a good warm up.

Dax again on the offwidth problem. This one is a bit more cropped than the first.

Dax again on the offwidth. I kinda liked how this one turned out. Especially for how overcast it was.

Pat straddling the "Waterfall" on an unknown (to me) V4ish? slab on the same boulder as the offwidth problem.

Dax on the offwidth problem at the secret garden in LCC. Everything was wet, and the lighting sucked.

Grainy granite that looks like a solidified beach - It's great when it doesn't crumble and de-knuckle you. Pat pulling a fun little V4 - much steeper than you'd like it to be.

These are the topout moves to shingles, a powerful boulder problem in LCC. Thanks to troy Lincoln for snapping this photo.

The tall vertical face on the back of the Shingles boulder. This problem is easy, and the moves are clear, but has several toothy rocks at the base. Another You Fall, You Die moderate in LCC. Classic!

This photo was taken courtesy of Troy Lincoln. The problem is called 'Shingles' and works up a beautiful overhang. This is the crux move, a big throw to an edge and staying on after your feet swing loose. Great problem!

This is the offwidth at the Secret Garden in Little Cottonwood. My friend Aaron snapped this shot. The rock’s a bit friable, but the chickenwings are solid.

Although the snow sucks, the bouldering in Salt Lake is rocking this January. Forget the gym, were climbing outside until it starts snowing again. Scott Swanson works out Twisted (V4?).
