This is my first summit of Owl Rock, in Moab, UT. I was very glad that I brought hexes with me, because cams sure felt shady, and I could see old skate lines from cams that pulled out.

Nice wide crack, classic 5.8 climbing with good belay ledge at the top and anchors. Great views of the surrounding park from the top. Get there early before the crowds.

The light was good and the sky looked great so I snapped this pic of Owl Rock. I never found out who the climers were. If you recognize yourself send me a PM so I can credit appropriately.

Just pondering the line after placing Tristan's #4 Camalot. You can see the other team's rapp line to our left; we got tired of waiting for them to get off the rock so we just started up hoping that they would be done rapping by the time we topped out.

Here is the belay/rapp station at the top of Owl rock. Tristan stood on the dusty little summit to take this picture. What an incredible place Arches Natioanl Park is. The view on top was spectacular!!!

I stood on the top of Owl Rock in Arches National Park and took a picture of the shadow cast by the little desert tower. The sandy little 5.8 crack was great fun and the views, unforgettable.

So easy to look out and bask in the glory of Moab from atop the Owl.

I got this shot of my buddy on Owl Rock. He came climbing right after he left the country club and forgot to take off his tennis sweater.

The only pictures we have of this climb are Lily on top and both of us in front of it. A touron promised to send us the pics they took of us climbing but - well, you know the rest.
