I shot this of Susanica Tam (model and photojournalist!) during a photo climbing class taught by John Evans at the Redrocks Rendezvous. The rest of the class shot from lower down to get some nice blue sky. I thought shooting from higher up to get the desert in the background might look good also. Here's the result.

My friend Margy following on Swallow Crack, a 5.7 climb at the Pinnacles. I was belaying her using a gri-gri to go hands free to take the picture. This was her first climb. You can see that in her face!
