Get a massage and a tan, Surf the waves or just hang around.
A world famous surfing spot on Bali. At Uluwatu you'll enjoy a lot. Watch the surfers and the tides from the top of the cliff @ the little surfshops. Boulder the overhangs [ don't forget to bring tape ]. Enter the beach at low tide through the cave. Bath in the little hot pools at low tide. Nice for a couple days. See the Awesome Sundown.

When coming to Jakarta we flew the cheaper Iraqi Airways. While in Cikandang we heard the BBC world news on a crackin radio about the Kuwait invasion. It was a real hassle getting new tickets home. Hence the name.

Pictured just after the crux. This route is right above the cave that is high up the cliff. Looking down the cave is a nice view to the ground some 80 mtr below.
Be Carefull, don't slip here!

The TVRI route is made by Skygers. It starts from the caves on the lower left side. A traverse and then up.
Protection is bad. Grade +/- 5.8/5.9
It's me in 1986.

This was published in 1988, when the french came. One route at the top is named Laba-Laba [spider]. Guess it resembles the Weisse Spinne?
So this is where it all began regarding Rock Climbing in Indonesia. Thanx Skygers for all the effort.
