Tent Bound

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Tent Bound

Being tent bound doesn't have to be a bad thing, it's a great chance to recuperate after a long hard push... but ok, after a couple days it gets old!

The Everest View Hotel

Average Rating = 3.00/5 The Everest View Hotel

This picture was taken from the Everest View Hotel in Nepail. The Everest View Hotel sits on a ridge just above Namche Bazaar and Kumjung. It gets it's name because you can see Everest, on a clear day that is. Everest is obstructed by clouds just over my right shoulder. We still had a great view of Ama Dablam, which was the objective of our expedition.

Looking out our tent door at Camp 2 on the South-west ridge of Ama Dablam. The peak seen through the tent door is Malanphulan (5573m). It was truly a beautiful sight to wake up to. Photo taken by Adam Heming.

Himalayan Sunset

Average Rating = 4.00/5 Himalayan Sunset

This picture was taken from Camp 2 on the South-West ridge of Ama Dablam. It had looked like we would get hit by a snow storm, but it broke just before reaching the mountian and provided a spectacular sunset.
