Love this photo - this is Rit and Nicole about to rappel down out of one of the caves on the other side of the beach. We hiked up and through the caves in this cliff and came out on another beach to do some more climbs...

Nicole is a cool Canadian chick (originally from Halifax) who I met in Thailand. She was my climbing partner and my partner in crime. We've met up and climbed once in Canada and I can't wait to do it again!

Shoes shoes shoes... it's a personal choice - but quite frankly I prefer velcro - easy on - easy off!

This was a great 5.10c that had a bit of everything! The slight incline at the top is a bit deceiving til you get there.

What a great climb to watch - and a great one for taking photos as the sun goes down. Unfortunately we were a bit early to capture the sunset this time...

This a view of the Latvian Ledge from a viewpoint just beside Nimbus... WOW! Check out this guy - he wanted perfection and did the same climb 3 times!

The rocks here in the south of Thailand are like a playground...and once you get to the top there the view is breathtaking... turquoise ocean, sand and more cliffs! It's hard to see her in this photo - but Nicole is almost at the cave where there is an anchor and then I followed her up and lead the next bit. We did our first multi-pitch and we couldn't ask for a nicer rock face...

The climbing is amazing - but the views are just as awsome! Talk about inspiring - the lake, the mountains... the peace and quiet...

This was so amazing - when we stopped and looked out behind us at the view we were speechless... one of the most beautiful places I've been!

This was a beautiful sunny Sunday down in the Land of Oz - it was towards the end of September. Who knew it could be this nice that time of year?

This was bouldering in the Land of Oz. I can't help it if my arms are more more muscular than Jon's!

After climbing this lonely boulder bare foot I had to add a little pizzazzzzzz and do my signature move! The wind was so strong it almost blew me over!

Our friend and instructor Rit made everything look easy - even soloing with bare feet or flip flops!

Me right after reaching the top. Look at this view...! Seriously could you ask for more? The town of Bariloche is down below (although you can't see it) and right beside is the lake surrounded by mountains...breath taking!

Katherine is climbing a glacier near Fitz Roy. From the top of this face you could see the Adela Glacier and Adela Mountian Range as well as Fitz Roy himself!!!

Here we are trying to rap down a slipery bit of rock beside the waterfall. Not such a great idea when you wear contacts!
