Dick Richardson, RIP: 5/11/1998. This rotated photo shows what the route is actually like. The other photo is the one that was published in Climbing Magazine. So, when you are hanging out like a bat trying to shoot pictures, watch your camera orientation. Andy Solow

Space Needle - OverviewThere were two routes on this sucker the last time I was there in 1979 or 1980. The old Rawl contraction anchors should be replaced. Andy Solow, San Francisco, CA

Dark Side of the Moon Lunar Flakes PitchAndrew Solow leading the 4th pitch. We kicked off the nasty looking one directly below the climber in the photo during the first ascent in 1977. It fell about 100 feet and sheared off the day pack we had left attached to the belay bolts at the top of the third pitch liquifying everything inside. Good thing I didn't fall when I was leading this particular part of the climb.

Dr. Bombay 1st Ascent - 1It looks a lot easier and less exposed than it actually is. A short vertical crack and face quickly becomes a bottomless horizontal chimney. The trick is to do the whole thing without hanging out and resting on your pro.
