Geared up 6 year oldAntonia all geared up for her first ice climb.
Tiffany Falls, Ontario.
Note: New this year you have to be at least 15 years old. We were able to get a waiver for this, but only because they sort of sprung the new requirement on everyone. Hopefully we can get it changed by next year.
[EDIT] Thanks to Christa at One Axe Pursuits for convincing the CA to drop the age requirement.

Nia climbing with her DadBeing 6 Antonia had lots of fun climbing, but couldn't get too high. So we dropped two ropes on the route and I climbed with her. She made it to the top! Very tired and very satisfied. I wasn't allowd to help all that much. It took us almost an hour to climb about 40 or 50 feet. Tiffany Falls, Ontario.

Nia's first day outsideThis is my daughter's first climb outdoors. This is the start of Yo-yo - she made it up about 15 feet or so and identified a couple of plants on the way. She's climbed much higher in the gym...in any case she didn't do badly for a 4 yr old!
