Brad topping out the WalkBrad, Rob and myself headed to Eagle Lake Cliffs to see what the climbs were like. We were presented with the awesome opportunity for some stunning photos. This is one of my favorites.

Protrait during SunsetThe sunset was amazing as the sun dipped below the clouds. I was out filming Kevin working the Arete (without the pocket) which he thinks goes at 5.14a/b. The rock turned this bright red and I had an amazing shadow...

Getting PumpedThis is me following on the 3rd pitch of On The Lamb. I was getting pumped out (can't you tell by the face?). It was an awesome day and a great climb. I was super impressed by Rob's lead on this pitch.

Sarah Concentrating on HandsSarah following on the third pitch of On The Lamb. Almost to the belay and just past the best rest on the pitch. Just a couple more little pumpy moves and you're at the belay!

Rob Making Memo Look EasyRob floated Memo From Lloyd. He had top roped it on one of his previosu trips and thought it would go as a trad climb. He's got a great head and I was super impressed at how easy he made this route look.

Rob Reflecting on Russell SummitWe did the 3rd class route up to the summit. Four of us made it to the first summit and then 3 made it to the higher, second summit. Gabe and I did this route to help acclimate for our climb up Whitney which was to follow the next day. Sarah and Rob did the route just 'cause! It was a beautiful day and the 3rd class ascent was great!

Leaving the Belay StationWe decided to do the route in 4 pitches instead of trying to run out the 3rd pitch. I got to the belay station and took on the rack and immediately started moving on up. This shot was taken with me about 10ft up from the belay.

Contemplating the ViewRobin and I managed to get in a couple climbs a couple weekends ago between storms. This was Robin's first multi-pitch/trad experience and she was just amazed by the view. This was a shot of her as she looked out from the top of Munginella.

Sticking the DynoAfter a couple of tries I finalyl stuck the dyno on Saturday Night Live. You can see that after the first attempt I taped my right hand where the rock was scraping away precious skin.

Sarah kicking it on GunsmokeSarah starting off the Gunsmoke traverse. The day was rather windy but quite sunny with the Gunsmoke area mostly out of the wind. It was great fun working the routes in the area.

Contemplating the next moveThis shot was snapped from the top of "Fat Head" -- a mentally challenging V3 near the Buttermilks. You go from a mantel into a hand-foot match and then stand it up. All the while crimping a micro-edge. Super fun but was challenging to work out the beta!
