Fun day messing around on The Thumb. My first "aid" climb =) prusik top rope ascent

Taking a break on the tree after the crux. first time using the "thumbs down" method. Worked great.

Last Pitch. Nice ledge to sit on waiting for your second.

Camped 11:00pm. Woke up at 4:45am. Climb on at 7:00am. Took the 5.7 cracks on the 3rd pitch and 5.7+ roof on the last pitch. Summited at 11:00am (8828ft baby!). Pissed off a 5 ft rattle snake at 1:30pm. Home by 4:00pm. Great day, awesome view!

Second trad lead. 5.9+. Fun roof took me 15 minutes sitting in that pod to figure out that roof.

4th July party San Diego 11:00pm. Camp Idylwild 3:30am. Woke 5:30am. Climb on 6:30am. Summit 12:00pm. Seconded this one last Tues. and lead it today! Did the 5.7 var's again to keep myself entertained =) Great view every time!

Did this one on TR before and trad lead this time. Run out but easy fun jugs that are a little hard to find but it's all there. Finally got that great exposure pic talked about in my last ascent note =)
