Brad on a project - The Lake Crack.Super soft rock in an area that has only two routes. We tried this route several times and although the climbing was really good, the rock scared the hell out of us! We never got up it.

The Gambler on Crack O' No ProFound some old slides and scanned this one of John (early '90's). He told us of the nickname - guess they thought it was hard, with the gear that was available, to find good placements - back then anyways. Enjoy the photo - D

Brad Stewart - 2nd Pitch of Desert SolitaireBrad Stewart leading the second pitch of Desert Solitaire 5.9 A3+. A thin crack in a tight corner, Brad used 9 knifeblades to get through this pitch. To me, it seemed as though this was the most continuously difficult pitch on the route.
