A Tough Crack to Nut, in its virginal state

Average Rating = 0.00/5 A Tough Crack to Nut, in its virginal state

The dead tree up the crack was removed, then I used my fingers, and my tool to clean it up. Finally it was ready for my nuts to go to work! It hurt (sharp tight crack) but it was well worth it!

It was only raining lightly on Rough Boys, a super-fun 5.10a trad line. Only 60 feet, but the climb packs a lot of fun into that little space. Short and sweet, just like the climber. ;) --Photo by Eric McCallister
