C'est moi, sur "Easy Crack". Il faisait froid dans le matin, mais l'apres-midi l'a tourne agreable.

We took a lot of pictures on our winter trip to Boat Rock. This one, TJ took. I love the low light/bright light contrasts. Such a nice trip. Totally.

The Yellow Arete seemed to play with our heads. So we set up a toprope on a lonesome bolt (see crimper's photos). Here, TJ gathers his moves in his head for another push.

The bare trees helped to cast wonderful shadows on TJ as he prepares to top-out the Easy Crack, again.

Boat Rock yielded many a kodak moment. Too bad no actual film was used. TJ on the traverse, if it wasn't obvious.

This was our first trip to Boat Rock. And with it came new routes to be conquered. Yet, the Yellow Arete (V4) left us both without its tick on our list. Here, TJ tests out a rapid succession of possible move sequences. Ouch.

After snapping a few shots of TJ crawling up the Yellow Arete, I noticed this lonely bolt anchored tightly into the cold granite. We placed a few quickdraws on it and a top-rope, to help aid in the send of the Yellow Arete (V4).

Our first trip to Boat Rock yielded some pretty fun sends. Crack climbing on granite reminds me of Yosemite, and it's a good feeling.

We come upon the knights engaged in head to head combat! Sir Gregory and Sir Michael are fighting for the hand of the lovely maiden. Two men enter... one man leaves...

After being at FSU for a while I needed a good climb... and the gym was closed. I'm very happy that they revamped the old gym... nice edges.

I never thought I would ever consider a hold to be such a whore. But I guess, this one gets around alot. Nice finish, though.

This is Rat-tail. No more tail, but still a rat. He "attempted" the route under the stairs at Vertical Ventures. Let's just say it humbled us all.

I love this shot. Just one hold. A perfect, 1/2 pad crimp. Bringing full circle the meanings behind any climbers motivation: to go one step further. Taken at exactly midnight, this little piece of heaven brings a sigh of relief and agony as your slick tips constrict it's edges, to gain another move.

In my garage, there's a light that never goes out... above my Ghetto. Rigged and set in only several minutes, but guarenteed to ensure lasting excitement and sore pads. Kids, this is what happens when you mix too much Red Bull with too little rum... [shutters]

This just in... ghetto fabulous climbing wall erected in minutes! This is my latest brainchild. TJ came by to christen the beast. "The Ghetto." Made from "stolen" rails and homemade campus rungs. Add plywood crimps and 2x4 slopes, and you have the perfect ghetto superstar! Stop on by.

I decided to have fun with my new toy. I "borrowed" these rails from the local Y. They'll get them back once they realize their gone.

Maybe it was the RedBull... or maybe the Jalapeno peppers for breakfast. But something wicked this way comes...

A pretty rad start at Vertical Ventures. The route finishes off after a slopey crux about 20 feet higher. Very nice begining to a prosperous day.

This is me on my hangboard. I made it from scratch. And although it doesn't seem THAT impressive, I'm proud of it. Stop on by sometime...

just a little bit of heaven away from the gym. Living in FL is hard enough without any REAL rock, this is my relief from a hard day's work of slacking off...

This photo was taken at Aiguille Rock Climbing Gym in Longwood (Orlando Area), FL. This is plainly me... not doing anything particularly special, just warming up on some jugs...

This is a problem my friend TJ and I put up last summer at the Campo Family YMCA. I LOVE it! It took about a day to solve. It seems very simple... but it is harder than it looks. Sorry no photo! The holds are Entre Prises.

My friend Mike from across the hall had some fun in Photoshop with the prAna logo. I think it brings a nice reverence to all prAna stands for... What do you think?
