This is Gringalet - 3 pitch route neer Coaticook Quebec. Early season equals thin ice! Protection on the first two pitch was marginal. Every year an "ice hand" forms up, making the 3rd pitch spectacular.

This is the HUGE cathedral peak as seen from the Urdukas camp area. Located beside the renown Trango Towers, this monstrous big-wall has yet to be climbed- at least from the information I could gather. Before you rush there, to try and get you name in history, consider the following:
- The face is huge and will necessitate at least a two-month commitment
- The climbing will be done at altitudes raging from 16,400 and 20,300 feet
- The face is prone to huge rock falls. When we where there, blocs bigger then school buses ripped from the top and fell all over the face.

Since no prayer flags exist in Pakistan (unlike Nepal), we decided to put our own. Our laundry (underware) serves the purpouse of having our prayers be lifted by the wind... If it will just lift the odors, I'll be happy!
