Photo of The Pioneer cabin tree in the North Calaveras Grove. Some of you pm'd me about the size of the trees, this one doesn't even make the top forty list of giant Sequoias!

Picture of the Giant Forest Museum between rain cells. The museum has interactive diplays and other cool facts about the park. There is also a gift shop inside with all kinds of goodies to buy so you can remember your trip.

I took this shot with my last picture at the end of a great trip. Moments after I was on the road home wishing I had brought more film! Anyway I get to see a lot of bitchen things grove hunting, so there's another one waiting for me out there somewhere...

Here is a picture of my Lab Princess. She enjoys belly rubs, snacka treata's and is always happy to see you! Everyone posted their dog so....

This is a picture I took of the Wupatki Indian Ruins just outside flagstaff during a soul searching mission. I set out to see the Meteor Crater and I fell in love with flagstaff area so much that I didn't want to come home!

I took this shot on Christmas Eve on the way to my Mom's to surprise her. Kinda nice When you get to go through Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite to see your Mom! I like going there by myself, just wandering around taking pics...

This is a picture of sean ripping up this boulder at night. It is probably hard in the day, I'm sure night made the holds harder to find! I think they called this problem HOLENOID.

This is Armando making meat of this boulder after dinner and a couple of brews. This guy was unstoppable and he solved every problem he could find on this rock that night!!!

Here is Armando again. After solving the Pinhead crack in his climbing shoes he decided to style up this crack in his biker boots and leather jacket. He almost made it, as you can see!

I snapped this shot of Christi just before she topped out. The trip was great and I climbed for the first time in over ten years: I even managed to clean a couple of routes! Not bad for a guy who was doing his best impersonation of "Uncle Fester" from the Adams Family...

Here is a picture of baja_java keeping the route safe for the rest of us. It's either Butterfingers make me horny or Chocolate is better than sex; I can't really remember, I'm just an old burnout...

OK, so here I am on my first outdoor climb in over ten years. Can you tell that I LOVE ICE CREAM! Well, I can tell you that I could after I made it over the top. Gotta get rid of this "Uncle Fester" look .....

This is just another picture I snapped off next to the Hidden Valley campground in Joshua Tree National Park. I took it while waiting for climbing partners to arrive for the days climbing.

This is an overall veiw of the granite Mountains near the Kelso Dunes in the Mojave desert. I've never climbed there but, the rock features were to interesting to let pass without a photo of them.

Minolta SRT200 @ F-11 with ND filter stacked on a polarizer, 28mm Lens, slik tripod. Fuji superia 100. I'm always looking for new shooting tips & critiques to improve my Photography!

I took this shot early one morning while roaming around the Tuolumne meadows area. I saw this shot reflecting into little Dana lake and immediatly stopped and set up for the picture. I wasn't sure how it would turn out and I only had two snaps left on this roll of film. My SLR was in my truck so I used a Kodak Max 400 disposable camera! Not bad for a throw away camera....

The general Sherman is the largest living thing in the world and is an astounding 52,508 cubic feet of volume. The General is 102.6 feet in ground perimeter, 275' tall, has a breast height diameter of 21.6' and is still 17' in diameter at 120' above the ground!! Of the 67 recognized sequoia groves, Grovehunter has been to 34 of them. Of the top 40 largest trees in the world Grovehunter has visited 30 of them.
