Hawk in water

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Hawk in water

Jen kept her head together while climbing the second pitch of Hawk. Even though it was a warm day, I don't think she appreciated the drops of water falling onto her from the route as she was leading!

Simple Stuff in the Valley

Average Rating = 2.40/5 Simple Stuff in the Valley

Sometimes it's the simple stuff that makes you happy. This was taken in a meadow on a crisp November morning, after a frost hit the Valley the night before.

El Cap Standing Tall

Average Rating = 3.50/5 El Cap Standing Tall

I know it's been taken many times before me, and most likely many times after, but the views of El Cap and the Cathedrals got to me ever time we looped around the park. It was so inspiring to simply view the Captain in person.

Nightfall Over Half Dome

The sky was a brilliant shade of purple, and the moment was just right to take this photo of Half Dome with the moon rising in the night.

High Excitement on High E!

Average Rating = 2.67/5 High Excitement on High E!

This is me right before pulling "the move!" I did it a bit differently, by crawling on my belly, then reaching up. At one time, this was my highest rated onsight! Although no longer my highest, it is still one of the most fun! After every move on the last pitch, I would look behind my shoulders and smile! Awsome route! No wonder it's a classic! Taken on 5/31/05

Gabe boldly looks over the roof on Bonnies direct, to find not big jugs, but a just a thin crack. Nice lead man!

At this moment, I was placing a bomber nut before reaching over to the ledge and letting my feet cut loose! What a great climb!

Getting high on Modern Times

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Getting high on Modern Times

I did a huge right heel hook to get into the ledge where the tree is. I was curled up into the smallest ball just to be able to fit inside there under the roof! This is my highest rated Gunks lead so far!

Placing gear

Average Rating = 2.40/5 Placing gear

Unfortunately, I missed getting a shot of Jason's first lead fall and Rob's first lead catch. I had to settle for Jason placing this #4 nut behind the flake.

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Gaberade...I mean Gabe aiding

Gabe aids Under the Big Top, I believe. He's done it before but in a different way, because there were too many icicles in the way today.

My express delivery service

Average Rating = 2.00/5 My express delivery service

Cory joked by saying he wanted me to bring him a munchkin up to him. So that's exactly what I did. I clipped the box to my harness and began to climb! Of course, after my foot slipped and I took a short fall, Cory needed to make sure that the munchkins were ok! Notice how the box is perfectly in focus, but I am not. Taken by Miss Harsh herself!

The rock was beautiful, however, the ground beneath it was not. Be careful of all of the trash and broken glass. According to writings on the wall, this climb was rated a 10b.
