Lowering off Laces Edge

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Lowering off Laces Edge

Johanna is lowering Roel off Laces Edge, Roccapina. This was about the only sun we got in 10 days on Corsica - we could finally recover our draws after they'd been on the wall for 3 days. Floods, mudslides and roads-turned-into-rivers made for a different climbing holiday than expected. Photo by Harald Swen.

Luitzen at the perfect spot for lunch, high above Chamonix yet remote enough to escape the crowds. Photo by Harald Swen

Knee-wrecking dropknee move!

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Knee-wrecking dropknee move!

No wonder that knee always hurts. The weird start of Taille Land 7a+ at Waldeck in the Vosges du Nord. Yes, these are chipped holds, but hey, the chipping was done hunderds of years ago, when the whole rock used to be a castle. At least the've done a good job at produced a fine route. Grand Canyon just before the Floods

Average Rating = 3.33/5 Grand Canyon just before the Floods

As the first rain starts to fall Johanna is pondering whether to go for a hike or wait a little longer. 12 hours later the biggest storm in years had ruined many trails and left dozens stranded in the Canyon, but left us with some nice pics. Picture by Harald Swen.
