4th time to the tower and i've started climbing some harder trad. In all the times i've been there i've always wanted to try this 2nd pitch and it was awesome. Next time hopefully i'll send it.

This was our second day in the backcountry. We hiked up through the paintbrush divide and were making our way towards the death canyon shelf. Even tho the shelf provided us with some cool bouldering I was staring this down wishing I had my gear with me.

A fun and easy first lead of keyhole, it was a beautiful day out and a very enjoyable first lead and seconding of keyhole

Maybe it was the fact that we had to approach the route in the snow, or the fact that we were climbing in february in MN but this route was an enjoyable one

Finally made this climb, its only about 25 ft but before this time had given me many troubles

coming out onto the overhang your body is almost fully horizontal which adds to the enjoyment

First time not too rough, but a great fun climb.

the parallel cracks provide for some interesting variations, none which were tried on this attempt

After a long day of climbing up durrance route, we had a fun rap down the meadows. We stopped on our way back from a hiking trip in Glacier N.P. what a great time!
