This was John's first climb ever,but he has the body type. Climbing here in Guadalupe Canyon has ruined J-Tree for me...I love a cool dip in the stream after every climb, and a hot soak at the end of every day...

The 'City' is full of fun bouldering, but since the rocks are pretty much the main attraction, bolts are nowhere to be found. You can camp in the park, but after a long day on sharp rock a soak in the nearby Faywood hotspring was Heaven...

It looks like I might have to invest in a pair of those cute tiny climbing shoes I saw at REI. Camie did great climbing up (with a little help from the rope),but when it was time to lower off, NO WAY! I had to climb up and hold her hand while Mom took the belay.Maybe she'll stick to climbing pictures for awhile...

The sand stone here is great,and little Camie did a great job with tough lighting conditions.

My first sport lead at Owens River Gorge...Fun! The river felt really good,too.This was the first route at the bottom of the road,we couldnt go much further with the kids along. With Lisa on belay, Camie (5 yrs old) took all the Pic's.

Sheesh, I guess I need to give the camera to someone else...no pics of my self!
