Pulling the Roof... Trusting a Friend's Placements

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Pulling the Roof... Trusting a Friend's Placements

The jugs on this roof are huge. Cashmere is a very nice route... simple moves, roof is the hardest part. Very thankful Chuck is into trad'ing!

Love HP40... I never lost so much skin sooo quickly. Most on this route. Very cool route, and even better people to work it with.

These are the three cracks... the edges are brick... just like most of the same features at BCC.

Pebble Cracks

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Pebble Cracks

I think these routes would be harder than the brick cracks. The pebbles are some sort of quartz mix.

Closeup of the Pebble Cracks

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Closeup of the Pebble Cracks

Those little rocks could be sharp on rope... better make the fall clean or maybe use twin ropes.

Upward View of Crack

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Upward View of Crack

Good luck getting over to the chimney... suppose one has to undercling and smear... that transition looks very hard.

Upward View of Stonehenge Corner

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Upward View of Stonehenge Corner

Fun little crimps... harder if you stay on one side. Easier if you run up on a corner/arete.

Top-out for Stonehenge Arete

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Top-out for Stonehenge Arete

The end columns are much easier to top-out on than the middle columns... see how the flat arches laying slightly misaligned creates a lip?

Panoramic View of Stonehenge

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Panoramic View of Stonehenge

This is 2 sets of semi-circular columns with flat columns laying on top. The end columns are much easier to top out on. The flat arches are that fake concrete (styrofoam covered in fiberglass with a thin layer of stucco)... so go easy on it.

Chimney 1 (east most chimney)

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Chimney 1 (east most chimney)

The chimneys look about shoulder width. I think it's only about half a torso wide... so half of you is gonna be sticking out in the air.

Roof of boxes

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Roof of boxes

This is the roof above the sidewalk, and below the chimneys. I have no idea how (I never say if anymore) to traverse this. Though, I suspect someone quite strong could use opposing pressures to move between the boxes. The boxes are about 2.5-3ft wide.
