Looking out from the first belay on Pinnacle Gully. Rapped off on an old rusty piton and a #4 nut because of below zero temperatures and brittle ice which was giving great difficulty.

Just my dad's second time climbing outside. My mom and sister climbed as well. We had a great time, great weather, and no crowds!

What a great 5.6, never have I been so pumped. Despite how great the route was, almost every piece was crap because I was too pumped to think straight. I should climb it again and protect it properly.

A fun finger crack with some difficult spots but good rests.

I actually topped out just fine. This is the top of Whitney Gilman Ridge an awesome 5.7 at Cannon. Full of loose rock, good exposure, and fun climbing. Just leave the giant backpack at home.

Laybacking is the crux of this nice little warm up route.

Just below the crux of Mr. Clean, a beautiful crack/dihedral. I was a little scared after watching someone deck from this very spot. Glad I brought extra cams, happier that I didn't fall.

I'm not sure what wall this is but it's as seen from the parking lot across the street from the Mountain Brauhas resteraunt.

First time at the Gunks and I had to wake up and see the sunrise over the Hudson Valley. Makes the wall glow.

Nice thing about slabs is you can rest on your feet. Picture is taken by my belayer on a beautiful October morning.

Fun route on a slabby arete. I had led the route and then had the second belay me from the top to take some pictures. Good reason to have a third person with a nice camera.

Here's a picture my mom took. It was a pretty difficult route to find but not very difficult to climb.

This is me about at the crux of Windy Armbuster. There is a nice no hands rest here but after that it's all steep overhang till a little cave about 20 more feet up. Really hard to toprope the route since if you fall at the crux you probably won't be able to reach the rock.

A photo of myself on one of the many awesome boulders around the West Main Bluff. The flake I'm on is pretty thin and using the pockets would just be too easy.

This is a picture my mom took of me on Jasper's Dihedral over the 4th of July weekend. Seemed a little soft for a 5.8 but the tricky finish is very cool for any climb.
