Crux on the final

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Crux on the final

This is me on the final boulder of the Metropolitan Boulder Tournament 2004. The next move was waaaaay out of reach, but grabing that crimp with my left hand made the difference between the first and the second place :)

Boulder

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Boulder

This is the boulder section of Golem Escalada, where we train day after day. Though not very big, it's good enough to improve contact strengh.

Watching the footwork

Average Rating = 3.50/5 Watching the footwork

Javier Gil negotiation a tricky footwork in a slaby route in La Vigilancia. Pre placed stuff by photo guy (that would be me)

Gustavo Rodríguez sending

Average Rating = 3.33/5 Gustavo Rodríguez sending "Batman"

We had quite a rough time to clip the first bolt, since the moves were hard and the fall nasty. We ended up using a long branch to pre-clip the first protection.

Thinking about a dyno

Average Rating = 3.75/5 Thinking about a dyno

This is Silvio Alfonso sending "Comete las cadenas", 5.10d. I think he was persuading his belayer to give him some slack before sending a dyno.

Coming out of the roof

Average Rating = 3.80/5 Coming out of the roof

This is Javier negotiating the crux of "Muy amable, muy gentil". Apparently the only thing to come out of that roof if a tiny crimp with a huge launch to another crimp... heavy stuff

This is me pulling the crux of Evangelion, 5.10. Holds are good hugs and some slopers. Photo by Javier

Average Rating = 3.17/5 "Coming out of the darkness"

This is me in “El Circo”, 6b+ (5.10d). The route starts from a roof, and this is the crux, when you have to come out of the roof and then jump for a fairly good slope. Thanks Javier for taking the shot!
