Rely on Gimmicks. A wide shallow crack up a not so steep slab. Way high makes it a V5

I take full credit for the send. Vic was having a hard time with the sun, so I gave her my glasses and presto ...a send on the daunting V5 Rage!!

The problem next to Jerrys Kids, the V8. Charlotte on a highball at LRC. Many of the other problems in this area at the same height were on top rope! Charlotte and Matt may be the nicest climbers in the world! Also two of the best

The day before Hounds Ear Eleven the DC crew went to Blowing Rock, NC for some fun. If you're ever in Boone, NC check Blowing Rock Boulders.

Finally a great day at Coopers. The SR crew warms up at the Aretes/ Tilted Tree area. A nice Arete to start the day.

Don't know the names of the problems at the Aretes. But this little three move slopey bulge proved to be a real problem for the SR crew. A low ball bulge, you could go right or left after the sit start.
