The problem next to Jerrys Kids, the V8. Charlotte on a highball at LRC. Many of the other problems in this area at the same height were on top rope! Charlotte and Matt may be the nicest climbers in the world! Also two of the best

...the other side of the stout V5 rage. James is type of climber that makes it look waaaaaay to easy. Nice job at LRC James!

Rely on Gimmicks. A wide shallow crack up a not so steep slab. Way high makes it a V5

I take full credit for the send. Vic was having a hard time with the sun, so I gave her my glasses and presto ...a send on the daunting V5 Rage!!

The last weekend at Coopers before they close the gates. What a perfect day. Sunny, high 57 deg and a willing crew. Alex sends the daunting Colorful Corner Arete.

The day before Hounds Ear Eleven the DC crew went to Blowing Rock, NC for some fun. If you're ever in Boone, NC check Blowing Rock Boulders.

Sammy sends the fin. A great day at Coopers, finally got some good weather. If you haven't been to Coopers...GO!!

Not sure of the area but a real nice fin with an easy warm up. The day was perfect at Coopers but the sends were few.

Don't know the names of the problems at the Aretes. But this little three move slopey bulge proved to be a real problem for the SR crew. A low ball bulge, you could go right or left after the sit start.

The area know as The Aretes/ Tilted Tree. Vic on a warm up arete. Typical of Coopers climbing.

Finally a great day at Coopers. The SR crew warms up at the Aretes/ Tilted Tree area. A nice Arete to start the day.

Never got to the top but found this spot where an old house was near the top off a logging rd. These boulders are all over and undeveloped.

Bob D. after what he called one of his hardest sends to date. A way hard V5/6 at the Aretes/ Tilted Trees area of Coopers Rock, WVA

Vic goin for the nothing dimple in the sloped face of this powerful V5/6. She got the send.

This V5/6 powerful slabby problem with some bad side pulls and tough mantle was solved by the SR crew! Best send of the day!

Rated V5 this arete proved to much for the SR crew! Coopers has so many areas and problems. Every time we go there we find something new.
