nearing the summit

Average Rating = 0.00/5 nearing the summit

July something 2004, We started in the parking lot at 3.30am and summited around 10am via the Upper Exum Ridge. Routfinding wasn't too difficult. The whole experience...... hard to explain. This is a view looking south, but a camera never does it any justice.

5th (?) pitch of

Average Rating = 0.00/5 5th (?) pitch of "THe Snaz"

Awesome route. THis is me leading the 5th pitch just after the crux. Self pic (turned out ok). In the back-ground Andrew belays. Behind him, some exposure, a beautiful canyon, with a beautiful river running through it out to a beautiful lake. Teton NP is a hard place to beat. Days like that are forever imprinted.

8th pitch Black Orpheus

Average Rating = 3.00/5 8th pitch Black Orpheus

Feb 5th 2005 Andrew leading out on the 8th pitch of Black Orpheus. Awesome route, awesome place, awesome company. We topped out at dusk and had an eventful decent. We had headlamps, a topo, the place to ourselves, but no clue otherwise. What an epic- it was a great day.

The Saddle at Sundown

Average Rating = 3.75/5 The Saddle at Sundown

July 2004, Andrew and I had just come off Wall Street after doing the Lower Exum. We were inspired to do this route after having been up the week before ans summiting via. the Upper Exum, I took this shot looking west right around the rangers hut. We started the route around 1pm and decented via headlamps from the saddle.

I'm not exactly sure the name of this area, but it was close to the Sydney Zoo. Obviously by the water, sydney opera house in the background.

great views in the Superstitions

Average Rating = 2.25/5 great views in the Superstitions

On top of the Grandfather Hobgoblin. The few bolts on the route are quite old and dodgy looking. Very windy on that particular day. Fun, long climb!
