Dan on Stone Mountain

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Dan on Stone Mountain

This is just a photo of me on Stone Mountain for my profile. I think I had just finished leading the third pitch of The Great Arch (5.5) and am standing on a ledge. Photo by Guilherme Fonseca.

First half of the Great Arch

Average Rating = 3.00/5 First half of the Great Arch

Here's a nice shot of the first pitch of the Great Arch (5.5) at Stone Mountain in North Carolina. That's me, Dan Lenski, climbing at the bottom. This route is one of the easiest at Stone Mountain, as it follows a large, arching crack and arrete up the mountain. Besides one other large crack, there are hardly any features on the rock. It's awesome friction climbing. Photo taken by Guilherme Fonseca.

Dan climbing the Pulpit

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Dan climbing the Pulpit

Here I am climbing the Pulpit, an awesome 4-pitch 5.8 at Stone Mountain in NC. Here I am on one of the steeper parts of the first pitch. The undulating terrain on this route and nearby Electric Boobs is awesome. Guilherme Fonseca took the photo.

The tracks on Grand Funk Railroad

Average Rating = 3.00/5 The tracks on Grand Funk Railroad

This is me, Dan Lenski, following on the 2rd pitch of Grank Funk Railroad (5.9) at Stone Mountain in North Carolina. Here I am just reaching the "railroad tracks", two parallel ridges for which the route is named. These ridges are essentially the only features on the route, everything else is friction climbing. Guilherme Fonseca took the photo.
