DC on the arete

Average Rating = 0.00/5 DC on the arete

This arete was V2/V3 and DC was the man on the climb. This is a very interesting problem - and one of the first boulder problems one might come across when taking the trail from the main camping area.

Cranking through the overhang

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Cranking through the overhang

When you arrive at Fountain Red (aka Fraggle Rock), this overhang is very visible and one could spend a ton of time just working problems on this one roof. It's hard to say what the rating is - but I'd guess V2/V3.

Le Beak

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Le Beak

This is one of the classics of the area down at Fountain Red. This is a great boulder problem with many variations, and excellent combinations of holds.

Dave on Le Beak

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Dave on Le Beak

Le Beak is one of the classic boulder problems in the area. It is truly great bouldering, and is one of the best problems I've been on in the midwest.

Bouldering on the classic arete

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Bouldering on the classic arete

Fountain Red has tons of great boulder problems -- and on your trip down there, just take the trail back and you can't miss it. I can pretty much guarantee that anyone who walks by this line is going to try and climb it.
