MiddleGnai-WadiGnai-Dahab-Egypt

Average Rating = 0.00/5 MiddleGnai-WadiGnai-Dahab-Egypt

Nice story to this crag: Swiss mountaineer, Juerg Meyer, arrived with his family Spring 2009 for a mix of diving and climbing. The mountains quickly dragged Juerg away from snorkeling alongside his children's Junior Open Water course. After a few days exploring Wadi Gnai, he decided his kids needed some new routes - and voila, a few days later we had Middle Gnai. Love it. Big thank you from all who have climbed it since (including our own children!!).

Egypt-Dahab-WadiGnai-Camel Canyon map

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Egypt-Dahab-WadiGnai-Camel Canyon map

The Camel Canyon area of Wadi Gnai is spread out - this map will show you how to piece together the 7 topos. The area was opened in 2010 when the Hot Rock expedition came to town. Basically, we lead them and their very big overlander to the best camping spot in the wadi, parked Am Abdullah and Saad with to keep them supplied with lunch and copious amounts of Bedouin tea, supplied bolts, a drill and a few other bits and bobs (which they supplemented with their own drill and bolts as well) - and away we went for 4 days. Fantastic time, christened with a Bedouin feast as the last route was opened. Thank you Rhonda, Pat & the rest of the team.
