Another look at the unknown boulder/problem with the one-move wonder. It's a little more overhanging than it looks. This is me, mid-botch. Left hand on good rail, right hand on a bad edge, ok feet. Once my left foot pops from overextension, i'm off. It's such a finessey move, requiring a perfect bullseye snipe to the slot. The sit-start potential is also there but it's ridicuhard.

When I first posted this photo, I cropped out the shadow and some of the top because the image was too tall to submit. This time I just scaled it all down. Basically i should have done that originally, i'm an idiot. here's the original... i think the shadow makes the shot...

The benefits of exploratory bouldering sometimes payoff, like today. I found this aesthetic classic wave-like boulder that looks like it's never been touched, could be wrong. This is me trying to stab deadpoint to a bad slot. Had to snap a self-timer shot. Didn't send, exciting project.

there are 4 horizontal sloping seams on a blank wall, about 4 feet apart from one another with no good holds between. insecure highsteps with a high crux, scary! damn photo doesn't do it justice.

Andy Patari nabbing the first ascent of Glamour Shots, an absolute gem we found while exploring the middle of nowhere, 15 miles southeast of Mammoth Lakes, CA. The rock is volcanic, similar to the Happy's and Sad's. Still needs some cleaning...

This is me adding two moves to the start of the amazing new problem and boulder we found on the Sherwin Plateau at the top of the Sherwin Grade (where the floor of the Owens Valley rises from 4,000ft. to 7,000ft.)
