Geoff on Minor Bolt Ladder

Average Rating = 2.67/5 Geoff on Minor Bolt Ladder

I took this pic of Geoff while he was low on the first move (a rivet). This is a good practice route because the second clip is reachy and overhung.

Geoff and his Adjustable Fifi

Average Rating = 1.67/5 Geoff and his Adjustable Fifi

This pic I took of Geoff after he gains some height using his Adjustable Fifi. The next clip (a bolt) is quite a reach.

My Dad and I about to Stick It!

Average Rating = 2.00/5 My Dad and I about to Stick It!

My mom took this pic of my Dad and I before we sent a route on Tahquitz! This was his first multi-pitch route and he was awsome. My Dad is the one who turned me on to climbing when I was Twelve. Thanks Dad!!! Hey lets do it again soon. My Mom had a little friend visit while we were on the route as well. She was all alone enjoying the woods when Mr. Snake paide her a visit. She was cool though, at least after we got back! I Love you guys Sean. PS The serious looks in the photo are because I was giving Dad a little of the treatment. Ya know, you tell em "Oh its any easy route but remember DO NOT......" etc. HEHEHEHE

Tim placing first piece.

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Tim placing first piece.

This is my bud Tim getting ready to climb his first trad lead. He has placed a dark blue Tir-cam that you see in the crack. This is a great first trad lead and is easy to protect. There is no real crux but the crack goes to small finger tip underclings.

Tim leading Left Flake

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Tim leading Left Flake

This is Tim up on Left Flake running it out. It is his first trad lead and he stuck it!!! He is at the semi-crux where you can only get the tips of your fingers in while smearing on 5.6 face.

Tim chillin after first climb

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Tim chillin after first climb

This is a pic of Tim Carrol after his first rock climb. We did Fingertip Traverse and it was awsome. When he said he would try climbing I realy let him have it. The approach hike, the wilderness, the multi-pitch trad, and the belay set up with the most exposer possible made the climb a clasic for his first. On the last belay he was pissed and a little freeked. After we topped out I handed him a Keg-can and the worm turned!!!! Cheers Brotha!

Sean Hangdogin on A Major Concept

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Sean Hangdogin on A Major Concept

This is the route around the corner from major bolt ladder. This route features about 10' of clean aid crack. The crux is stepping high off a fixed pin to clip a 1/4" spinner above the crack. The route goes free at 12.a.

Sean practicing Aid Mt. Roubidoux

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Sean practicing Aid Mt. Roubidoux

This route is at Mt. Roubidoux in Riverside Ca. You can find at least four good practice aid lines directly below the big cross. This route is called MAJOR BOLT LADDER on the So Cal Aid Guide. The photo was taken by my girlfriend Rachel. The crux of the climb is the old smashie on the second to last move. The wire on the smashie makes strange high pitch ping noises when weighted. Finish with a hook move and your off. Expect 1/4" spinner bolts, rivets, a #1 stopper slot, and a few good 3/4" bolts in just the right places.

Gabe on Serpentine

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Gabe on Serpentine

This is a pic of Gabe at the first belay on my first rock climb Serpentine. The crux is at the third bolt on the second pitch (5.9+). It is still one of my favorite routes.
