L'arete du Genepi (D)The last pitch of L'arete du Genepi. An outstanding granite route 40 min above the refuge d'Argentieres. Rating D, length 6 pitchs, pro is Ok (pitons here and there), you may want to add a few nuts or friends ;-)

Dome de neige des ecrinsThe second group of the UCPA arrives at "le Dome", 4015 m.
Behind the group, can be seen "La barre" 4102m.
The group is led by "Louis", a fearsome guide whose bark was bigger than his bite (but the young girls he coached didn't get wise to this before much later).
