Estrellieta Palm TreeTopping out on Estrellita in El Portrero Chico, Mexico. The sight is amazing, and there is even a pair of Muiras to greet you. Sign the register, then rapel for an hour.

Don't take it for GraniteVermont Schist...Don't take it for Granite. Drew pondering the final moves on "One eyed Monster" (V7) in smuggs. A huge move to a slopey two finger pocket (sometimes skipped) sends Drew re-thinking his strategy. Steep schist isn't nice to the fingers. Photo by David Vuono.

Kautz Glacier RouteWarm day on the Kautz Glacier in July of 2002. Mt. Adams in background. Fantastic steep snow makes this route far from traditional. Not many breaks included on this route, especially higher up.
