The Beautiful Black Canyon

Average Rating = 2.88/5 The Beautiful Black Canyon

After the arduous descent down the SOB Gully, the surreal Painted Wall stands in front of us, bathed in sunlight. The long shadows are a continous reminder that there is little chance to enjoy the scenery. Our route, the "Russian Arete" is just out of frame to the right.

Rainy Days in the Red

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Rainy Days in the Red

The best thing about the red is it's pretty easy to find something to climb in the rain. We got soaked before we got to military, but sportster caught this shot of me on "fuzzy undercling".
