leading the 10a first pitch

Average Rating = 3.95/5 leading the 10a first pitch

My brother Perry took this shot of me. It was an onsight but as you can see I do not have the jamming thing down. Nonetheless it is a great climb. The second pitch has got the most awesome fingerlocks.

mid winter sportclimbing at skaha

Average Rating = 2.40/5 mid winter sportclimbing at skaha

This picture was taken in February by Steve Jode. This route and its neighbor, are more technical than typical Skaha routes. A very enjoyable climb. The sun warmed up this wall quite nice and we enjoyed a days worth of climbing.

the gate keepers of the wall

Average Rating = 3.71/5 the gate keepers of the wall

I did not even notice this guy until he stood up. He walked right down to us. Of course my partner and I were 20 feet up the rock by the time the goat was standing by our packs. Just like the locals told us the same goat greeted us at the top and guided us down the descent path.

above the bulge of crux pitch

Average Rating = 2.67/5 above the bulge of crux pitch

I decided to do Dreamweaver again. As you can see, it was a cold day. I took this pic. after my partner ripped off several loose blocks at the bulge and fell. Surprisingly the manky belay held. My partner's home can be seen way below beside the road.

the anti apoxy problem

Average Rating = 3.00/5 the anti apoxy problem

We stumbled upon this problem and noticed glue on a small flake underneath the overhang. The picture shows the problem sans glued hold. Classic problem.
