LeiTingYan, Keelung Mtn.40km north of Taipei City, The LeiTingYan of Keelung Mtn., mysterious and a superstitious one. First attempt led to a fatal rappelling accident many years ago. Then very few people tried afterwards. Keelung Mtn. shapes like a volcano, with nearby villages of Jiufen and JingGuaShih once famous for gold and copper mines. Stairs the other side of the mountain leads you to one of the best view point of northern Taiwan.

Highest rise of cliff at Taroko GorgeBig Wall? Maybe. But those marbles... so little friction, so much unsure. No tries (climbing up) yet. Rappelling? I think so, but not to the river bed. There is a trail up there, if you're not interested in climbing on weathered cliffs, at least you can take a walk.
